The effect (just an example)

Put your wallet on the table and bring out your phone.

Show off a deck of playing cards right in your iPhone. You can flick through cards like a normal deck of playing cards by lightly swiping your finger over the screen.

Start flicking through cards and ask your spectator to stop you whenever she wants.

As soon as a card is selected, tell your spectator to look in your wallet. Smile when she goes crazy finding a real card. HER SELECTED CARD!

Now ask them to name their favourite food. Lets say "HAMBURGERS".

Now spell it, and for each letter flick to the next card on the phone.

A new card selected at random...

Tell your spectator to look in her pocket. Now shell probably pass out when she finds a note naming THAT EXACT CARD.
